Dolby Atmos video for Microsoft Store
Dolby and Microsoft recently launched a Dolby Atmos retail demo experience for Microsoft Stores demonstrating Dolby's immersive sound technology on Microsoft Windows devices like Surface. This immersive audio experience was shown in 47 Microsoft Stores to approximately 3 million people across the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
Microsoft also requested a certain approach that emphasized nature, and striking a balance between telling and showing. I subsequently worked on creative strategy, the concept, and script that would marry to existing footage Dolby already shot and owned for maximum efficiency. Before production, I also outlined creative recommendations and shared those with our internal marketing and video teams, so we could share that with Microsoft before production, saving untold hours of back and forth.
Microsoft approved the video without changes and our ECD commented on one word, resulting in an efficient, streamlined production for the Content Team, Microsoft, and Dolby.
